Although red dwarfs like Proxima Centauri can emit strong stellar flares , these events are not sufficient, at this vast distance, to have any impact on Earth. Additionally, none of these stars are expected to undergo a supernova explosion , which is the only event that could pose a danger to our solar system.

 

Overall, Alpha Centauri remains a subject of significant scientific interest, but it does not represent any source of danger to Earth.
